“Golden Time” Helpers

“Golden Time” normally runs in primary schools for around thirty minutes on a Friday afternoon. The pupils are offered a choice of fun activities in return for behaving themselves throughout the week.  The selection available to them varies from school to school but may include such options as baking; playing with construction toys; craft activities or taking part in team games.

You may have a particular hobby that would be fun to share with a group of pupils.  Activities such as paper crafts or clay modelling would usually be very welcome.  However, just being available to assist by supervising board games or to help with messier activities such as painting or baking would also be appreciated.

While Golden Time does require regular commitment, if only for a short period each week, it does allow for relationships to be built with pupils and staff as you work with them.
