Supporting School Fundraising

Most primary schools will hold school fairs several times a year to help raise funds for the school. There are many ways that people in the church could volunteer to help out:

  • Be involved in the Parent Teacher Council to help to organise the event

  • Provide volunteers to help staff stalls or serve tea and coffee

  • Provide a stall as part of the event

  • Provide volunteers who will help with face painting

  • Provide people who are willing to help with setting up and clearing up after

Having people from the church come along to support and participate helps to create a great sense of community and belonging together.

Another idea may be to set up an Amazon Wish List in partnership with staff at your local school. With the vast majority of schools having to work within strict budget parameters it would be a great way of helping provide the school with additional resources and materials. You can find a helpful guide to setting up a wishlist here.
